Notes from the artist:

If you were to ask me why I draw barns, I would have to say that it's in my genes. My father's father, his father, and many great-greats in the past were builders.  They were builders who drew their plans on a scrap of paper, then built their proposed structures with their own hands.   My mother's family were dairy farmers from Wisconsin.  I have fortunately inherited my ancestor's love of architecture and agriculture.

Therefore, it's easy to see my strong feeling for the lower Flathead Valley with its verdant fields and wonderful red barns.  Here's another to share with you, from where it's situated along the Somers Stage Road.
