All that Is Agawam

Notes from the Artist:

On occasion someone will share information about a wonderful area or building they have seen.  Taking note of that, I will then search out this location at a later date.  In this instance, the search was for a “picturesque homestead.” The informtion I had received led me to a dirt road north of Great Falls, Montana. Although the house was just plain and white and uninspiring, I turned around and was greeted with the sight of what was left of Agawam. It was nothing but a couple of grain elevators on a siding of the Great Northern Railroad branch line, with the Rockies as a back-drop. Sometimes disappointment can turn into a pleasant surprise with just a turn of the head.
