Judith Gap, Montana   NEW

Out in the open prairie in the middle of Montana, the wind blows.  It doesn't blow casually, in fact it blows with conviction.  When you're traveling the main route to Judith Gap from the east, you come upon a scene that causes you to catch your breath.  The first thought that occurs is that you've discovered some sort of alien landscape.  Then you start to smile as you begin to appreciate what those gigantic blooms are spreading through the fields.  It is a wind farm that has grown turbines where other crops have struggled.  I felt the need to draw this old barn as a tribute to the winds of Montana and to the new source of power that they are providing.
