The round barn along the road near Twin Bridges is a landmark recognized by many. Interestingly, most are unaware that this barn was the home stable of the only Montana thoroughbred to win the Kentucky Derby. "Spokane" accomplished this amazing feat in 1887.

A bustling cattle ranch in the next century, the Beyers place was famous for its Herefords. Many “4H-ers” and members of Future Farmers of America were taught the finer points of cattle judging within the circular walls of this great landmark.
